1. Overview

FraxNet P2P is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users post ads to buy or sell crypto assets for local fiat payment methods. By creating an account and using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”).

FraxNet P2P is a coordination layer, not a custodian. We do not hold user funds. Trades are settled directly between counterparties — the seller sends crypto to the buyer's wallet after confirming fiat receipt in their own bank or payment app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to trade cryptocurrency where you live. You must not be located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, nor appear on any applicable sanctions list.

You are responsible for complying with your local laws — including tax reporting, anti-money-laundering rules, and any licensing requirements that apply to your trading activity.

3. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. Your FraxNet P2P handle and display name are visible to other traders. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for every action taken under your account.

You may have only one account. Operating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, circumvent limits, or evade bans will result in suspension of all associated accounts.

4. Trading rules

When you open an order as a buyer, you commit to sending the full fiat amount to the seller's specified payment method within the payment window. When you open an order as a seller, you commit to sending the specified crypto amount to the buyer's wallet after confirming fiat receipt.

Never take a trade off-platform. Any attempt to move a trade to Telegram, WhatsApp, email, or any other channel is grounds for account suspension. FraxNet P2P cannot protect you in off-platform disputes, and off-platform trades void your reputation protection.

Abusive behaviour — spam, harassment, discrimination, or misleading claims — is prohibited in chat, ad terms, and profiles. Flagged messages are reviewed by administrators.

5. No on-platform escrow

FraxNet P2P v1 does notcustody any assets. “Opening an order” does not lock funds on the platform. You are responsible for verifying fiat receipt in your own bank or payment app before releasing crypto, and for verifying the crypto transaction on-chain before confirming receipt.

See the Risk Disclosure for details.

6. Disputes

Either party may open a dispute on an order once it has progressed past the “payment pending” state. Disputes are reviewed by administrators, who may resolve them by finding in favour of the buyer, the seller, dismissing the dispute, or declaring it a split.

Administrator decisions are final for platform purposes, but do not limit your rights under applicable law. FraxNet P2P is not a party to the underlying trade.

7. Fees

FraxNet P2P v1 does not charge trading fees. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with reasonable prior notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using FraxNet P2P at any time. You may request account deletion via your profile settings (data export and deletion controls are available under your privacy rights — see Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, attempt to defraud counterparties, or if required by law. Suspended accounts may be banned from new trades while existing disputes are resolved.

9. Disclaimers

FraxNet P2P is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of information posted by other users, or the outcome of any trade. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the greater of fees paid to us (if any) or USD 100.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and via the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of FraxNet P2P after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed with legal counsel], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute between you and FraxNet P2P will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Drafting note: this page is a placeholder to unblock deployment. Before accepting real users in any regulated market, have a qualified lawyer review and replace the content above — in particular the eligibility, dispute, fee, liability-cap, and governing-law sections.
